Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our diverse portfolio of commercial properties. Responsibilities: • Effectively manage general ledger accounts • Ensure accurate property accounting records are maintained • Assist in month-end close procedures • Generate comprehensive financial reports • Reconcile bank statements diligently • Work collaboratively with the property management team • Accurately process customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Staff Accountant or similar role within the Real Estate & Property industry • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger operations • Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately • Experience in handling Month End Close tasks efficiently • Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting functions • Familiarity with Oracle accounting software • Experience with QuickBooks is desirable • Knowledge of SAP accounting software would be a plus • Strong understanding of Accrual Accounting principles Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
