Responsibilities + Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. + Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. + Analyze and report on financial data to support business decisions and ensure compliance with accounting standards. + Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing functions as needed. + Support budgeting and forecasting processes. + Assist with audits and other financial reviews as required. + Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy. + Communicate effectively with tenants and executives Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the real estate or property management industries. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. + Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, Sage, etc.). + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. + Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative attitude.
