Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Burbank, California, 91504, United States. The primary function of this role is to manage a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance. This role is situated in the finance industry and will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Responsibilities • Oversee and handle the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner • Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including invoice creation, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding amounts • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure financial accuracy • Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and updated • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Conduct the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial transactions for the month are accurately accounted for. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a staff accountant role or a similar position. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. • Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations. • Solid understanding and experience with the General Ledger. • Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries accurately. • Experience in executing Month End Close procedures efficiently and timely.
