Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Burlington, North Carolina, United States. In this role, you will be expected to perform various accounting duties such as assisting with the close, making journal entries, and providing more accounting knowledge and understanding. This position is 100% on-site but offers flexibility with hours. Responsibilities: • Contribute to the month-end closing process • Prepare and record journal entries in a timely and accurate manner • Utilize QuickBooks and NetSuite for various accounting tasks • Support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly • Maintain and update the general ledger • Foster a positive culture and personality fit within the team. Requirements • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required • Must be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations • Capability to handle General Ledger accurately • Experience in creating Journal Entries is necessary • Should be familiar with and able to perform Month End Close activities • Knowledge of NetSuite software is an advantage • QuickBooks proficiency is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
