Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Denver, Colorado. As a part of our team, you will manage a broad spectrum of financial duties, including the execution of bank reconciliations, processing of accounts payable and receivable, and maintenance of the general ledger. You will also have the responsibility of executing journal entries, and utilizing Sage Intacct accounting software to streamline our accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Executing accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable. • Performing extensive bank reconciliations to assess our financial transactions. • Overseeing and maintaining the general ledger to monitor financial activities. • Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. • Using Sage Intacct software to enhance the efficiency of our accounting operations. • Assisting in month-end closing procedures, including audit preparation, and generating various financial reports. • Cooperating with the rest of the finance team to refine financial processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management • Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) with accuracy and efficiency • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations on a regular basis • Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance and management • Ability to prepare and verify Journal Entries as per business needs • Familiarity with executing Month End Close procedures in a timely manner • Proficiency in using Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
