Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant in Vista, California, who can efficiently manage our financial records and transactions. Your main role will be to oversee the accounting system, handle month-end close procedures, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the operation and control of the business accounting system • Handle month-end close procedures and ensure accurate financial reports • Communicate regularly with banks and meet all banking criteria • Manage the issuing of Purchase Orders (POs) • Ensure financial data flows correctly to financial statements • Rectify any missing expenses and complete the financial side of the ERP system • Automate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Provide weekly cash flow reports to facilitate check writing • Implement daily accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and budget management • Collaborate with CPA firm to ensure financial best practices are followed. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) operations • Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Understanding of General Ledger maintenance • Capable of creating accurate Journal Entries • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with NetSuite software • Proficiency in using Oracle • Experience with QuickBooks • Knowledge of SAP software usage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
