Description Description of Position Robert Half has a long-term temporary opportunity available for an experienced, organized Staff Accountant at a reputable company. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with a variety of transactional accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and also preparing bank and G/L account reconciliations. How you will make an impact - Review and process accounts payable (A/P) invoices, routing for approval prior to issuing payment - Prepare customer billing using Great Plains software - Apply customer payments directly to accounts, validating short pays and credits to existing contracts - Support the month-end close process by managing monthly reconciliations process for several different companies and accounts - Prepare and book journal entries to the general ledger - Reconcile complex bank and general ledger account reconciliations - Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as needed Requirements Requirements 3+ years of prior G/L accounting experience highly desired Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred Prior experience with Great Plains and Concur software is highly desired Solid understanding of account reconciliations, both bank and G/L Excellent written and verbal communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
