Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Plainview, New York. Responsibilities • Spearhead the process of bank reconciliations to ensure complete financial accuracy. • Take charge of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently. • Assist in the month-end close process, with a particular focus on the accuracy and timeliness of data. • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date. • Maintain a comprehensive general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
