Description Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. + Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy. + Prepare financial statements and reports for management. + Support accounts payable and receivable functions. + Assist with audits and tax filings. + Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies. + Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience preferred. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 50) . + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + High attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
