Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Milpitas, California. This role involves managing various aspects in a manufacturing environment, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and full-cycle accounting. The successful candidate will work with different teams to integrate financial strategies into the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. • Coordinate full-cycle accounting tasks, such as maintaining general ledger, performing month-end close processes, and reconciling accounts. • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, to automate processes and manage workflows. • Maintain precise financial records and generate comprehensive financial reports. • Collaborate with other functions, such as operations and supply chain, to align financial strategies with broader manufacturing objectives. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls. • Manage and reconcile financial transactions with suppliers and customers. • Track production costs and analyze variances to optimize cost management. • Apply advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros. • Exhibit understanding of unique accounting considerations in manufacturing, such as inventory accounting and cost allocation.
