Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Lynnwood, Washington, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and executing the company's financial processes and performing month-end close procedures. Responsibilities: • Execute month-end close activities efficiently, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries. • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, and perform detailed analyses of these documents. • Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. • Utilize Microsoft Excel • Ensure all accounting activities align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Work both independently and as a part of a team to meet strict deadlines and handle high-pressure situations. • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and clients. • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in all aspects of the role.
