Description Staff Accountant: Responsibilities: • Manage the reconciliation of various financial accounts, including bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts. • Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries and accruals. • Prepare and scrutinize financial statements to ensure their accuracy and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. • Perform detailed variance analyses to identify discrepancies in financial transactions and propose corrective actions. • Provide necessary documentation and explanations for internal and external audits. • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and reconciliation tasks. • Comply with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). • Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to resolve reconciliation issues and improve overall financial processes. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
