Staff Accountant
Description Robert Half has partnered with a client on their search for a Staff Accountant with proven public accounting expertise. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, reviewing general ledger accounts, assisting with monthly account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, assisting with bank reconciliations, and participating in the development and tracking of budgets. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, highly organized, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation. Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks diligently • Conduct regular bank reconciliations for accuracy of financial data • Maintain and manage general ledger activities • Prepare and post accurate journal entries as required • Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures • Operate NetSuite and Oracle for diverse accounting tasks • Utilize QuickBooks, QuickBooks Pro, and Quickbooks Online for various accounting functions • Employ Sage Accounting Software, Sage 50, and Sage Peachtree Dos for effective financial management • Utilize CRE for efficient real estate accounting tasks • Apply skills in hospitality management and property management, as required • Efficiently handle Infor M3 for diverse financial operations • Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks as necessary. Requirements The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
