Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Manufacturing industry for a Staff Accountant in Vernon, California. The workplace is dynamic and will require the successful candidate to handle various tasks simultaneously. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your accounting career! Responsibilities: • Ensuring efficient and accurate processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Overseeing the bank reconciliation processes and ensuring their accuracy • Managing general ledger activities and maintaining accurate records • Handling month-end close procedures and preparing journal entries • Utilizing software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Ensuring accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications • Collaborating across departments to resolve customer inquiries and issues • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry • Advanced skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Proven experience with Bank Reconciliations • Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger • Demonstrated ability to prepare and process Journal Entries • Experience in handling Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software • Proficiency in using Oracle for financial management • Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks • Knowledge of SAP for financial and accounting processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
