Description Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant with knowledge of GAAP and fixed assets. Responsibilities: • Handle and oversee both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. • Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. • Maintain and update the General Ledger on a regular basis. • Prepare and submit Journal Entries as part of the monthly close process. • Manage Fixed Asset Accounting, including tracking and recording of assets. • Perform the Month End Close operations and ensure all financial data is accurate. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required. • Familiarity with General Ledger management is a must. • Capacity to handle Journal Entries is essential. • Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary. • Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting is required. • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are needed. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this role.
