Description We are seeking a temporary Staff Accountant for a consumer goods brand. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with at least 4-5 years of accounting experience, an eye for detail, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and payroll. + Collaborate with the company’s global headquarters to oversee the closing process and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements. + Handle treasury activities and cash flow management. + Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. + Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. + Provide support in HR- and legal-related matters to the local leadership team. + Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. + Partner with external consulting firms to assist with audits and tax filings. Requirements Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Consumer goods is highly preferred.
