Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Woodbridge, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, executing journal entries, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities: • Execute journal entries to record all business transactions • Manage the general ledger and perform monthly closings • Ensure all credits and debits are accurately represented and balanced • Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records • Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role • Proficiency in General Ledger management • Demonstrable experience in Journal Entries • Proven skills in Month End Close procedures • Knowledge and practical use of Oracle • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is a must • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • A team player, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
