Staff Accountant
Description This role focuses on preparing and reviewing financial information, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: • Accurately process payments and manage invoice coding as part of full cycle Accounts Payable functions. • Set up new vendor accounts and respond effectively to vendor inquiries. • Aid in the month-end and year-end closing processes. • Timely and accurately prepare journal entries. • Conduct account reconciliations and investigate to resolve any discrepancies. • Assist in upholding compliance with established controls and procedures. • Contribute to the annual audit facilitated by external auditors. • Recommend enhancements to financial reporting systems and internal control procedures. • Participate in special projects as and when assigned. • Execute other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform accurate Bank Reconciliations • Strong understanding of General Ledger maintenance and reconciliation • Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries • Proficiency in Month End Close processes • Advanced skills in using Excel Formulas for financial computations and reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
