Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant. Located in Fort Myers, Florida, the successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining financial records and ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records • Ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries in the general ledger • Carry out month-end close processes efficiently • Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently. • Solid understanding and experience with General Ledger management. • Should be adept at making accurate Journal Entries. • Experience with Month End Close procedures is required. • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must possess strong organizational and planning skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
