Description We are inviting a Staff Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry situated in Lonoke, Arkansas. In this role, you will be handling a range of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting. The salary range will be $65,000 - $85,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits and 4 weeks of PTO/Sick time! Responsibilities: • Handle online banking transactions including ACH processing and positive pay. • Carry out cash management entries and disbursements. • Perform payroll processing and maintain employee records. • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations. • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts. • Generate and keep track of monthly journal entries. • Prepare year-end 1099 forms. • Assist with state tax reporting. • Contribute to year-end financial and tax audits. • Assist in reviewing and charting direct labor rates and indirect costing. • Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned.
