Description
+ Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.
+ Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
+ Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and audits.
+ Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and balanced.
+ Lead month-end and year-end close processes, providing accurate reporting and documentation.
+ Prepare journal entries, manage accounts payable/receivable, and oversee payroll processing.
+ Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
+ Manage cash flow forecasting and provide insights on cash management strategies.
+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA in progress preferred).
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience with payroll and cash flow management is a plus.
Requirements
+ Up to three years of experience in an accounting or finance-related position.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of accounting information systems and spreadsheet software.
+ Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
+ Effective group presentation skills and the ability to explain complex financial and business concepts to non-financial individuals.
+ Business process engineering mentality and experience implementing process improvements.
