About the Position: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in financial operations. The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting team with preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and other essential tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in preparing journal entries, ensuring accurate data entry in the accounting system. + Help maintain and update accounting records, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. + Work with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies. + Prepare monthly GL account and bank reconciliations, and assist with preparing financial reports. + Participate in preparing year-end financial reports and audits as needed. + Maintain organization of financial files and documentation. + Assist with other finance-related administrative tasks as required. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Good understanding of basic accounting principles. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
