Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in San Antonio, TX. Summary: There are a lot of tasks (topics) that the Accountant will be involved in, but it will be a gradual process as the person would start with the subledger (A/P). Outside of technical skills, this is an environment that is constantly evolving as they are still in growth mode; therefore, some procedures will need to be developed (SOP, accounting policies) as some have already been created. This is a true contract to hire with competitive compensation and benefits during the contract period. The Staff Accountant will be doing the following: * A/P (input, process, file electronically, 1099's, etc.) * F/A (Fixed assets - input, process prepare depreciation journal entry and post); Also, will work on CIP (Construction-In-Process) * Taxation (Local, State and Federal) * Treasury - A/P Payments * Procurement - assist in sourcing for Operations * Risk and Strategy * Audit * Other tasks as assigned
