Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Deland, Florida. This role focuses on the day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, and month end close. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage the transactions of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end and year-end close processes. • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and keep supporting documentation well-maintained. • Contribute to the accurate financial reporting by maintaining updated accounting records. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. • Perform bank reconciliations.
