Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Lakewood, California. In this role, you will be handling various accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and managing the general ledger. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the efficiency of our financial processes. Responsibilities: • Accurately handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Maintain and manage the General Ledger • Prepare and record journal entries as necessary • Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting • Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed • Process customer credit applications with precision and speed • Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records.
