What You'll Do: + Journal Entry Review: Evaluate, analyze, and review journal entries submitted by operational teams to ensure they are accurate, complete, and appropriate. + Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. + Fixed Asset Records Maintenance: Account for fixed assets, maintaining accurate book and tax history records. + Internal Reporting: Prepare and review internal management reports to support decision-making processes. + Collaboration: Interact with operations personnel to obtain explanations, support account balances, and analyze activity. Requirements What You Bring: + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. + Experience: At least 1 year of general ledger and account reconciliation experience within a large company or Public Accounting background. + Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail in all aspects of your work. + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey insights clearly and professionally across teams. + Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
