Description Our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is searching for a project accountant due to growth. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial documentation, handling client audits, and overseeing accounts receivable. You will also be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Excel, invoicing, and budgeting. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain financial records accurately • Handle client audits and ensure all necessary documentation is available • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely payments • Utilize Excel for various financial tasks and calculations • Handle invoicing tasks efficiently • Execute budgeting tasks and ensure financial plans align with business goals • Ensure compliance with GAAP Accounting principles in all financial operations • Calculate payments accurately and ensure timely disbursement. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountant role or similar • Thorough understanding and application of GAAP Accounting principles is required • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is strongly preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Knowledge of an accounting ERP system For confidential consideration, please reach out to Emily Schneller at 504-264-5922.
