Staff Accountant
JSG is seeking a temp to hire Mid-level Staff Accountant for our client in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Education Requirement:  Degree in Accounting

Duties & Responsibilities:

•          Knowledge in creating Trial Balance, Balance sheet                   and Income Statement. 
•          Maintain accounting ledgers and analyze GL accounts.
•          Manage Closing of Navision System every end of the                  month.
•          Manage the Chart of Account in Navision
•          Prepare and analyze Branch Financial Statements and             be able to perform variance analysis reports in                           comparison with the forecast       
•          Prepare journal entries and monthly account                               reconciliations and analyses for month end                                 close.
•          Manage Lease accounting for all lease contracts as                   part of month end.
•          Complete analysis and projects as needed.
•          Understand the Cost accounting and be able to assist               on cost analysis and identifying unusual transactions.
•          Aid in the quarterly reports and year-end audits                         conducted by external auditors.
•          Demonstrates knowledge of accounting and be able to             respond to queries coming from JFE management,                     external auditors, internal auditors and tax consultants.
•          Provide accounting advise for the team members.
•          Bank Reconciliation
•          Be able to support and understand the following duties             as back up. Fixed Asset & Depreciation Schedule monthly GL and maintenance Monthly update on Inter-Company Transactions Personal and Real Property Tax monitoring Bank reconciliation Hourly rate between $36/hr - $38/hr.
