Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Vineland, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall financial management and regulatory compliance of the company, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and accruals • Assist with the month-end closing process, conducting research and making correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepares closing journal entries, posts accrual entries, and prepares financial statements • Utilize financial software systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to track and analyze financial data • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and legal standards. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrated expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger management • Skilled in making Journal Entries • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of QuickBooks software is beneficial • Experience in using SAP software is advantageous Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
