Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a great opportunity for a Junior / Staff Accountant in the Monmouth County, NJ Area. This role is pivotal in the Finance industry and will involve working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions • Conduct Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records • Manage and maintain the General Ledger • Utilize Oracle for various accounting activities • Prepare and adjust Journal Entries as necessary • Ensure all financial operations adhere to established regulations and standards • Monitor financial transactions and reports • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes • Analyze financial data and provide reports to management • Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including but not limited to invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication. • Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including customer invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation. • Ability to conduct accurate and timely Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded. • Experience in preparing Journal Entries, adjusting entries, and maintaining the general ledger. • Proficiency in using Oracle for financial management, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
