Description We are welcoming a Staff Accountant to our team in the Charlotte area. While this role is fully remote at this point, that will likely change to very hybrid in the future so candidates MUST be local. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of our financial records, conducting thorough analyses of various income statement accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of our overall financial position. Responsibilities: • Accurately process month-end journal entries • Conduct in-depth review and analysis of various income statement accounts • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and rectify any discrepancies • Research and determine the proper accounting treatment for transactions relevant to assigned areas of responsibility in compliance with GAAP and established company policy • Actively participate in the monthly and annual close and consolidation process • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes • Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is mandatory • Ability to manage the General Ledger is essential • Experience with Journal Entries is crucial • Familiarity with Month End Close processes is necessary • Proficiency in using NetSuite software is highly desirable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
