JOB DESCRIPTION
STAFF ACCOUNTANT: DETAILS
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Nashville TN (Metro Center)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $25-32/hour
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 8am-5pm | Monday - Friday | 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: STAFF ACCOUNTANT
* AS Degree in Accounting
* 1+ years of recent accounting experience

RESPONSIBILITIES: STAFF ACCOUNTANT
* Ensure proper day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
* Directing accounting functions in accordance with established guidelines set forth in the management agreements, accounting principles and company policies.
* Direct, develop and oversee daily responsibilities for the Billing, Receivables, Collections and Payables team members.
* Oversee the process of customer billings for all business segments such as Monthly Assessments, Special Assessments, Homeowner Statements accurately and in a timely fashion.
* Review and manage delinquency process and assist and manage setup, deliverables and reporting concerning collections.
* Month end closing of the general ledger & financial preparation for multiple entities.
* Conduct research on any outstanding or unexplained items.
