What we expect… (Essential Functions)
Ensure accuracy of transaction entry and work product by working with others to perform reviews.Prepare and record entries into accounting software system. Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts.Prepare and/or review contracts and subcontracts to business partners using Catina software including verification that exhibits are current.Maintain records on fixed assets by ensuring licensing, insurance and DOT compliance, as well as preparation of property tax returns.Research project locations to establish correct sales tax application and reporting. Research state tax exemptions and coordinate required documentation for customer economic incentives. Prepare sales and use tax returns.Assist with other various tax information, including licensing, net profits, fuel taxes and preparation of Form 1099’s.Provide support for the annual financial statement audit and any other periodic reviews.Other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business and three (3) years’ experience in financial accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and e-mail applications.
The selected candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized,
possess excellent communication skills.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision. Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required. Some travel may be required.
