What You'll Do
As our Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
Managing cash balances and performing daily reconciliations for banking accounts.Maintaining Vendor Master, Material Master, and TRSNET for AP Vendors in SAP.Handling sales tax filings and end-of-month cash updates.Preparing and distributing daily cash reports for our Mexico operations.Compiling and submitting reports for MS US Geology and USGS.Setting up payment requests via the appropriate systems as needed.Approving ACH payments on a weekly basis.Providing bank statements to corporate on a monthly basis.Running Vertex reports for sales tax reporting.Tracking intercompany drafts and deposits.Performing foreign exchange valuations at month-end.Filing withholding tax for interest payments to the IRS.Posting automatic drafts and clearing cash account activity in SAP.Supporting audits and other related activities as needed.What We're Looking ForWe need someone with a strong background in GL Accounting and reconciliations. Here are the key skills and qualifications:
Experience in cash application and reconciliation.ERP experience, particularly SAP, is highly preferred.2-3+ years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment.Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and V-lookups. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
