Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Rock Hill, SC. Responsibilities • Analyze and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Handle the responsibility of processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency • Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records • Provide responses to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary • Use analytical abilities to understand and resolve discrepancies in financial records • Facilitate communication across teams and departments • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new skills and techniques • Assist with end-of-month tasks and responsibilities • Handle general ledger duties and contribute to other areas of the business as needed Skills • Accounts Payable (AP) • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Bank Reconciliations • Journal Entries • Month End Close Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Knowledge of General Ledger management • Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately • Experience in performing Month End Close tasks • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
