Description We are on the hunt for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to be a part of our team. Your primary role will be to handle customer applications, safeguard the accuracy of customer records, and manage customer inquiries. Additionally, you'll be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions. This role is based in Ramsey, New Jersey, 07446, United States and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle customer credit applications • Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records • Manage and resolve customer inquiries • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions • Conduct Bank Account Reconciliation • Familiarize and work with SAP system • Carry out entry level accounting tasks Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant. • Proficient in Bank Account Reconciliation. • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Excellent abilities in managing large sets of financial data. • Familiarity with accounting software and programs. • High attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks. • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Commitment to continuous detail oriented development. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
