Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Brea, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be pivotal in handling General Ledger (GL) accounting tasks, assisting with the preparation of budgets, and conducting financial analysis. Responsibilities: • Accurately manage General Ledger entries • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets • Conduct detailed financial analysis as required • Support in the creation of audit schedules • Undertake month-end accounting tasks • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy • Assist in maintaining adherence to GAAP standards • Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as needed • Take the initiative in meeting financial deadlines • Foster a team-oriented environment within the department. Requirements • Position: Staff Accountant • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role • Skills: Proficiency in managing General Ledger • Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Certifications: CPA or CMA preferred but not mandatory • Knowledge: Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles • Skills: Proficient in using accounting software • Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Personal Traits: Attention to detail and accuracy • Capabilities: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team • Ethics: Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
