Job Summary:

Prepare and reconcile our monthly concessional revenue for our Avis and Canada Car rental locations. Responsibilities include monthly and yearly reporting, payments based on airport specifications, and analyzing various balance sheet accounts. Additional duties include preparing on-line journal entries during our month-end processes at the beginning of every month.  Responsibilities may vary based on assignment.

What you’ll do:Prepare monthly concession schedules for Avis and Canada Car Rental.Complete annual schedules of concessional revenue for airport year-end requirements.Assist in the audit process & procedures for external airport audits.Compute and report monthly revenue letters and reportsAnalyzes and reconcile account statements and address discrepancies with Airport and local market locations.Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet accounts.Prepare monthly journal entries.Review accounting statements (P&L and balance sheets).Assist on various Ad Hoc projects and department responsibilities.Act as liaison with the properties department and the airport/local market locations to ensure proper payments are being processed in a timely manner.You should apply if you bring:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience.Knowledge of Oracle GL, Oracle AP, Oracle Fixed Assets system a plus.Familiarity with Visual Lease or similar lease accounting software.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and act with urgency.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel is a must).Attention to detail.Benefits you’ll receive: Paid time off 401K retirement plan with company matched contributions Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Legal, Identity Theft, Insurance, FSA, additional life insurance coverages Contribute up to $260 as a tax free benefit for public transportation or parking expenses Employee discounts, including discounted prices on purchase of Avis / Budget cars Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service, and more
