Description The Staff GL Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role includes a variety of accounting duties, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, all of which contribute to the organization’s overall financial health. Essential Responsibilities: + Ensure the general ledger is up-to-date and accurate. + Prepare and post journal entries to record all business transactions accurately. + Perform account reconciliations and address discrepancies in a timely manner. + Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. + Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards. + Assist with external and internal audits, providing required documentation and explanations. + Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial processes and reporting. + Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP. + Experience with SAP and/or Oracle is a plus. + Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting for both US and EMEA entities. + Contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments, such as SAP implementation for GL-related areas. + Perform duties in accordance with safety protocols and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. + High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP. + Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
