Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our client in the Hospice Industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to exercise a diverse range of financial skills, including preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain financial records. + Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. + Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts. + Resolve accounting discrepancies. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. + A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Hospice Industry. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. + Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
