Who will you be working with?

The finance team at Wabtec Passenger Transit is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance, consistently delivering accurate and timely financial data to support strategic decision-making while maintaining strong internal controls and optimizing cash flow.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Finance group, you will be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of the company’s reports and daily activities. This role will have a variety of duties and special projects that support the department and the business. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager.

What do we want to know about you?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance requiredPreferred 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and/or trainingProficient in Excel and other Microsoft products as well as computers in generalOracle experience a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.

Freight invoice managementUpdate vendor banking informationGeneral Ledger account maintenance and reconciliationsManage transactions with Suppliers (Internal and External)Oversee and coordinate Excess and Obsolete Inventory within the organizationSpecial ProjectsFulfill accounting and financial inquiries through financial analysisMonth-end closing activitiesAccomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related duties, as needed

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$60,700.00-$83,400.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
