ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Financial Accounting Manager, the incumbent prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assists and supports Accounts Payable.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.Assists and support Accounts Payable functionsPerform monthly inventory and annual fixed asset inventoryPrepares journal entries for review with proper support to Finance Manager.Prepares detailed account analysisAnalyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgetsAssists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger and Accounts Payable system and reportsAssists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of Fixed Asset accounting systemDemonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of communication, integrity, fun, respect, accountability, passion, and dedicationPromotes positive public/employee relations at all timesMaintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibilityPerforms all other related and compatible duties as assigned Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required as well as one (1) to three (3) years of similar accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceKnowledge of casino operations preferredMust possess excellent communication and time management skillsMust possess basic mathematical skills ability; add, subtract, multiply, and divideMust be proficient in MS Office, Excel and OutlookBasic knowledge of MS Word is requiredInfinium or similar computer systems preferred
