ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Financial Accounting Manager, the incumbent is responsible for preparing financial statements, duties include, but not limited to:
Essential Job Functions:
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.Prepares journal entries to General Ledger.Prepares bank reconciliations.Prepares detailed account analysis.Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets.Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger system and reports.Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of Fixed Asset accounting system.Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required as well as one (1) to three (3) years of similar accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Knowledge of hotel casino operations preferred. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
