Description We are looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join our non-profit client. This position requires significant experience in non-profit fund and grant accounting. You'll be responsible for managing key costing, budgeting, and accounting aspects related to grants and funds. Responsibilities: + Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards. + Prepare and review budgets and expenditures for grants, contracts, and other special revenue fund activities. + Maintain financial transactions within the assigned fund accounting system. + Assist in the preparation of financial reports for funders, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. + 2-3 years of non-profit or fund accounting experience. + Experience in grant accounting, compliance, and reporting. + Proficient in MS Office and understanding fully of GAAP.
