Overview of the Staff Accountant role
You will be responsible for preparing and recording complex journal entries associated with inventory accounting and supporting the accounts receivable process.
Responsibilities
Complete customer invoicing Perform collection activities for aged receivables Prepare monthly inventory journal entries to adjust general ledger balances Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations Propose solutions to address accounting issues. Review and provide guidance related to company policies/procedures. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Special projects as assignedCriteria
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (4-year degree). 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred. Strong technical/systems skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Strong analytical skills. Project management experience a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of large corporate accounting programs. Self-directed, critical thinker able to work independently. Ability to analyze data and produce reports to assist operations and management.Ability to perform work onsite in the Olive Branch office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic
