The Tom Wood Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess excellent Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and send wires and ACH paymentsPost incoming payments and manage payment entriesManage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)Perform month-end and year-end reconciliationsPrepare journal entries, including intercompany transactionsConduct contract reviews to ensure accuracyWork with and learn three accounting software systemsEnsure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial activitiesUtilize Excel for advanced financial analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, OR the equivalent experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Excellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to learn and adapt to multiple accounting software programsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
