Staff Architect - Mission Critical (Dallas)
**Description** Burns & McDonnell is actively recruiting Architects to join our growing Dallas/Fort Worth offices in our Mission Critical team. This emerging studio offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide range of project responsibilities and team leadership roles. Architects with a desire to work on a multidisciplinary team which includes in-house engineers, scientists and builders are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities: + Provide project team leadership and coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation. + Lead and produce accurate technical and contract documentation for project construction. + Lead and participate in construction administration, bid review and support, site visits, addressing technical issues, and improving quality during construction. + Work with government and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project schedule and objectives. + Manage resources to produce 3D software renderings and critical presentations. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in architecture from accredited program. + Minimum 4 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). + Excellent written & verbal communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem solving skills. + This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. + Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Previous consulting experience preferred. + Proficient in Autocad & Microstation. + Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
