College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience. JOB DUTIES: INTRODUCTION: The incumbent in this position will report to and provide support to the Cattle Programs Manager. The primary responsibilities in support of the Cattle Programs area are to provide administrative support for the Division’s Animal Disease Traceability, Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, and other Disease Control Programs; liaison between the Animal Records and Movement Section (ARMS) in Tallahassee and Cattle Programs office in Ocala; and provide bureau support function, as well as other duties, as assigned by the immediate supervisor. ANIMAL DISEASE TRACEABILITY (ADT): Support the mission of animal disease traceability and activities which enhance the capture of required animal movement documentation. Coordinate with the Bureau Office regarding the production of Premises Identification Number cards for new applicants. Produce and mail Premises Identification cards for new premises and per request of Program Managers. + BRANDS: Serve as the primary data entry for applications, renewals and updating the Brands Registration Program. Assist producers in completion of the application or queries related to the program. + Commerce Transport Imaging System (CTIS): Serve as back-up for the review of data from Interdiction Stations. As needed, based on staffing, should be trained and efficient at retrieving quarantine and advisory notifications. Assist in collection of data for monthly Division Reports. + CVI Central database: Perform routing and processing of livestock and equine Certificates of Veterinary Inspection. Reviewing certificates for compliance and processing to upload data into federal database. Assist in review and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes in the database. + Serve as back-up for management of the Cervidae database, including Cervidae Herd Health Plans and Cervidae movement permits. CATTLE PROGRAM DISEASE RECORDS: Act as a liaison between Cattle Programs Ocala office and Animal Records Management Section (ARMS) in Tallahassee to ensure that Official documentation, such as Official Test or Vaccination Records are distributed to the appropriate party or database. Support ARMS with coverage of phones and respond to Cattle Program related queries. DATABASES: Understand the importance of data integrity, validation and verification of physical locations, and cybersecurity. Complete state and federally required annual cybersecurity training. Maintain current eAuthentication for access to federal databases. Understand and demonstrate the safeguards of Personal Identification Information (PII) and federal restrictions on the sharing of federally held information. OTHER CATTLE PROGRAMS DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist ARMS with responding to animal movement and permitting queries. Cross-train in data management systems to serve as back-up as needed. Completes Incident Command System (ICS) training to prescribed levels (at a minimum ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700 & 800) and position specific training to support Division’s Incident Management Team (IMT) during emergency activation and response, including assistance with staffing the State Emergency Operations Center during an emergency activation. Assist immediate supervisor in collecting and interpreting data and information for review/evaluation of program goals and objectives as well as special program-related projects. Perform special tasks and other related duties as assigned.
