The Staff Assistant will provide general administrative support for supervisors and staff who work on ScreenNJ, Outreach & Engagement, and Center efforts (referred to as “Team” in the following); provide support at an entry-to-intermediate level, work will be under direct or general supervision, work will require a basic understanding of the RCI and team- specific mission and goals, work requires detail-oriented person who is competent at email, phone, and in-person communication.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Responsible for providing administrative, computing, and staff support for the department. Executes assignments and tasks requiring data collection, information gathering, analysis, data entry/retrieval, data base maintenance, and forms and graphics generation utilizing a variety of software packages. Screens calls and provides information in accordance with organizational/departmental policy. Manages questions and calls from ScreenNJ email, online fax and (800) number. Assist team with financial tasks under direct supervision (e.g., reviewing invoices for errors). Coordinates and maintains the department calendar and schedule meetings. Exercising discretion, applies informed independent judgment to help manage the department’s time. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
