GEICO's Enterprise Voice team is seeking a highly motivated, process-oriented Software Engineer/Systems Engineer for our contact center technologies. You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we redefine experience for our customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Lex, X-Ray, Databases (e.g. DynamoDB, RDS), S3, CloudWatch, Step Functions, AWS SDK
- 2-4 years of experience in full stack software development using Node.js, JavaScript, JSON
- 2- 4 years of experience with object-oriented design, well-architected design, debugging distributed systems, reporting, CI/CD, and PCI/PII secure coding practices
- AWS Certifications (Associate, Professional, Specialty level)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-Full Stack Software Developer with DevOps experience
-Experience developing for Amazon Connect
-Deploy, Automate, maintain, and manage an AWS production system
- Resolving problems across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
- 2- 4 years of experience developing omni-channel (voice, chat, SMS) Contact Center solutions including natural language processing and speech-enabled grammar
- Experience with Terraform and Typescript
- 2- 4 years of experience supporting an enterprise-level organization
- Experience and passion for influencing best practices and coaching/mentoring junior developers
- Experience developing automated test cases in Cyara or other automated testing tools
- Scripting experience using Powershell
Experience
· 6+ years of experience in Contact Center technologies
· 4+ years of experience full stack software development using Node.js, JavaScript, or JSON or DevOps Operational Framework, Cloud Architecture
· 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Contact Flows, Queues and/Or Lex Bots
· 3+ years of hands-on experience on scripting using Terraform
· 1+ years of people management experience
· 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks is desired
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

Annual Salary
$76,000.00 - $261,500.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
